Well this is it the last blog of the semester. The boys are doing well swimming and school are taking up most of their time, I wish that life was not so busy so that all of you could of gotten to know the boys a little bit better, but with my work, school, and union commitments I did not get to as many thing with the boys as we usually do. Blogging has been an interesting project, it has been nice to get a small insight into everyone’s lives away from class, and I hope that everyone got a glimpse into my life. Looking back I feel that blogging is a great way for friends to communicate when life is busy and you just can’t seem to find the time to talk to one another. But I do not feel that this should be your only means of communication, it takes all of the personal side out of communication, no emotion, no facial expressions , you cannot look into some ones eye’s and get that gut feeling if they are telling the truth or not. With non personal communications of any type a person can be whoever or whatever they want to be, there are no rules, there is no right or wrong because you can make up whatever you feel and no one will know the difference. We all need that personal contact with one another to help keep us all sane. As for a cyber community I personally think it would be a terrible place if this was how everyone communicated no one would be able to trust anything anyone said, everyone would be an individual in a bad way there would be no community what so ever, I would not want to live in a place that communicated like this. We all need each other to survive you cannot give or receive hugs through a computer screen I have enjoyed having class with everyone; you have all made my decision to return to school at forty a whole lot easier. Thank You PP

Hello all what an exciting week for the boys, we had another full week of swimming lessons now both boys think that they could swim in the Olympics, both boys are swimming very well. Fred had AIMS testing all week at school it did not seem to bother him. Then we were off to Vegas, the boys had a great time. We started at the drag races where the boy got to meet lots of the drivers and see the cars up close, the first cars down the track were so loud that both boys jumped out of their seats. The next day we went to the Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, Fred and George saw all kinds of different sea life and were able to touch a Ray, they had a great time. The rest of the trip we just spent walking around and seeing the different sights. We all had a lot of fun, and the boys got to see some things that they have never seen before, sights and people.

Well another week has flown by me and the boys had a pretty normal week. Cell phones and swimming lessons seem to be the main topic of discussion this week. My poor old cell phone finally gave up the ghost; the phone has been with me for as long as George has, so while I was replacing the phone my wife and I discussed buying Fred a cell phone so that we can keep tabs on him, while he is on his hot dates. So we purchased Fred a phone you would have thought I bought him a new car of course the only people that have his number are my wife and I, he cannot take it to school, but he carries it around the house just waiting for it to ring sometimes I will call him just to get some sort of reaction from him he usually yells at me and, then tries to wrestle. We also started swimming lessons this week, Fred took lessons several years ago and feels that he could win the Olympics, but since dog paddling is not an event he needed to take lessons with his brother, he sulked and whined all of the way to the pool and was pretty much a but head, until he saw that his instructor was an attractive young lady in a bathing suit, his whole attitude changed now he does not want to get out, and he is actually learning how to swim better. George on the other hand is the class clown he is learning, but I don’t think that the other two kids in his class are getting quite the instruction that he is. Attention kind of gravitates to George, but he could care less he would rather do his own thing. That is it for this week take care PP

It has been a while since me last blog so let’s see what has happened since my last blog. As you all know I returned from D.C. and had a very enjoyable time, it was awesome to return to class and find a welcome back banner, which means a lot to me thanks to everyone. It was great to get home and just hang out with the boys for a few days. Spring break was rather non eventful, the boys and I went on several bicycle rides when the weather was nice. Fred went on his first boy girl date “but it was not a date dad”, he said that he had a good time, I tried not to give him to hard of a time. Georg is played his last basketball game on Saturday, he was starting to lose interest so it is probably a good thing that it is over for the year. Fred has decided that playing the trumpet is just not his cup of tea so, after one month the trumpet goes back. Well that is all for now I hope everyone is doing well.PP

Well here we are again what an exciting week this turned out to be. Monday while driving to school the windshield of me truck was shattered by a brick that fell from the vehicle in front of us Fred just about jumped out of his seat while George showed very little emotion other than daddy what was that, everyone was ok thankfully and we finally arrived at the boy’s school without any more mishaps. Tuesday Fred decided that he would like to play the trumpet, so we rented a trumpet and his lessons began on Thursday he is very excited, George blows into a sea shell just to annoy his older brother. Wednesday and Thursday I was at work so we only had phone conversations mainly about not fighting with each other, getting their homework done, and not annoying their mother. Friday Georges puppy was scheduled to get spaded after arriving at the vet we were informed that she was in heat and we would have to wait. No big deal except for the poor dog was so upset that she had an accident in the back seat of my wife’s car followed by vomiting in Fred’s lap. After all of the excitement I met my family at home where Fred took a shower and a used the carpet cleaner to clean my wife’s seats. School was only a half day so the boys just hung out and helped dad build a bicycle. Saturday we went for a family bicycle ride in Sedona the plan was to ride from Sedona to some cliff dwelling outside of Sedona called Loy Butt. We left the truck Fred on his new bicycle he received for Christmas my wife and I on our bikes with George attached on a trailer bike to my seat post. The ride had a few more hills than what my family expected but we enjoyed the ride all the same. We rode a total of 12 miles and even though Fred had to push his bicycle up a few of the hills he did not complain once and as soon as he has able he would take off in the lead. I can’t explain how proud of Fred I am for riding that far and that hard and telling me what a great time he had. Now he wants a road bike will have to see about that. George just sat back did not complain and helped me pedal up the big hills. Until next week
